Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound pork belly, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups kimchi, chopped
  • 1 block tofu, cut into cubes
  • 2.5~3 cups water or chicken broth
  • 2 scallions, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon cooking wine.

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced the garlic and cook for a few seconds
  3. Add the pork belly with 2 tablespoon cooking wine and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped kimchi and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the water or chicken broth.
  6. Add the sliced tofu and onion.
  7. cook for an additional 10~15minutes.

Add a little sugar and salt to your taste.
